Thanks to everyone for their on- and off-list replies to my question last week. After one particular "welcome" message, I didn't check back and so didn't see that there must have been two dozen considerate and helpful people. Several offered personal one-on-one assistance. Now, **that** is going beyond the call of duty for list members and it certainly says something about folks around here!

I'll venture another question with the note that yes, I've checked the archives. There are still questions yet to be asked.

My dash lights have gone nuts. The symptoms:

(1) Dash lights work if the key is in the intermediate (accessory?) position with the light switch on parking or headlights position, but they go off when the key is turned to the on position.

(2) High beam indicator works on parking lights (?!?) when the key is on accessory and goes out when key is moved to on.

(3) High beam indicator is on when headlights are on low beam with key in on position, and goes out when you turn high beams on. (that is, function is reversed).

Ideas?
