I ran a ' 25 wire round computer cable' under the van from the ecu to the dash. I toasted my first ecu because all computer cables are not wired straight through; i.e the first cable I bought had wires 21-25 internally grounded which I didn't know about until I "tried" to start the van. Had to find a new ecu. Chuck Mathis <cmathis@HOUSTON.RR.COM> wrote:Wow, nice looking installation. Three years ago I did a "temparary" installation using a piece of angled aluminum attached to the side of the AT console. The original Darrel supplied box is mounted with a patch of velcro. The flat wire runs up under the edge of the engine lid under the rear seat, middle floor and carpet. The excess cord is tucked inside the heater duct below the dash. I've had to replace the stick-on paper lables twice. Looking at Joe's installation, I think it is time to modernize.

Any of you electronic wizards know if I can replace the flat wire with a round one so I can route it under the car?
