Subject: VDO Oil Pressure Gauges and BusBoys
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello, first, I want to thank the following people for giving me advice on my low oil pressure light problem, G.M. Bulley, William Greenamyer, Stan Wilder, Ben Huot, Andrew Fox, Leon Korkin.

Well, I have mixed feelings of relief and anxiety knowing that many people have this problem, but I am especially concerned with my situation of having the light flash after about 10 minutes of driving on the freeway, then getting off. It seems to come on especially when I press the gas or let it go, after the engine is warmed up.

I was going to buy a VDO Oil Pressure Gauge and dual sender from BusDepot, but they didn't have the rubber extension tube in stock that I believe is necessary to connect the pressure sender to the pressure switch hole between cylinders 3 and 4. So, I'm now thinking of ordering the gauge through bus-boys, but there is a warning about the service quality from bus-boys. Does anyone have memories of bad experiences with bus-boys?

Regards, Craig
