       Ben, I finally caught up with this message.  As you already know I did 
the same as you but it was my high beam fuses that went out.  I do not 
understand why your low beams went out.  the 10 amp fuses should work there.  
If you do the math you will see why the 15s won't work on the high beam 
circuit.  Each high beam fuse is now supporting 200 watts. Wires may be too 
small but I have seen no overheating....yet !  Drove back from Watkins Glen, 
5 hours, with them on all the time.  Your findings on the low beams is the 
same as mine.  Not much difference than the std. 55 w lows.  Most of this is 
related to the crappy lens.  Like I said before this is a cheap mans way out. 
 Best solution to this problem is true E-code lamps at a gazillion $.  Well, 
there is the possibility of going to the old grille with two round lamps or 
trying to install the cheaper 4" x 7" H-4 Hella lenses from <A HREF="http://catalog.com/susq/">Susquehanna 
MotorSports.</A>
