FS: 2.1 Vanagon waterboxer motor. From a 1986 Syncro transporter. 54491 km on the clock when it was pulled and temporarily fitted to my '87 Westy, August 31, while waiting a Boston Bob 2.1 rebuild. The rebuild is now here and will go in some time before the end of October. The 2.1 engine is still in my '87 Westy if you want to test-drive it before I pull it out. Engine is in very good condition with no leaks and good compression. Pulley seal new with standard Vanagon 3 belt pulley installed. I have driven it daily and to Quebec City, Boston and Watkins Glen, approximately 3,500 km, over the past month, all with no problems. I will sell it either as a stripped block without all the ancillaries for $1000 CND or as a complete block with ancillaries: injection system, air intake system, alternator, oil cooler, good clutch & flywheel and other miscellaneous items for $2000 CND. Price can be adjusted somewhere in-between depending on what parts you want or don't want. Parts not sold with the engine will be available for sale afterwards. Please contact me at "RAlanen@aol.com" or 613-256-6763 for more details.

Cheers
