Dear Vanagon Owners,

I am selling 4 used 15" alloy wheels and tires. They are in great shape, with a couple of minor dings and scratches here and there, but overall in very nice shape. I am located in Denver, CO. 

The tires are Kumho 716 ECSTA HP4, 205/65HR15, with under 1,000 miles on them. Yes, I know, they are not reinforced "super" tires for Vanagons (the thread that always seems to return from time to time), but for a daily driver in an unloaded Vanagon GL weekender, they are awesome handling and riding tires. I used to drive my van to work everyday, and when I got rid of the steel 14" wheels and tires and went to this set I was amazed at how much better the ride was.

I am asking $600 for the complete set. I will consider selling the wheels without the tires, for $400, and tires for $200. Shipping will be extra, it cost me about $50 to ship the wheels from Louisiana to Colorado, it will cost more if you buy the tires on the wheels. If you do buy the complete set, they are all recently balanced and ready to go, just bolt them on and go. I have all the center caps and hardware to install the wheels. 

I can send pictures of my Vanagon with the wheels on it if you are interested, the pictures will not be available until tomorrow, Oct. 10.

I am selling the wheels because we need the money.

I am also considering selling my wolfram gray 1987 Vanagon GL Wolfsburg Weekender if anyone is interested. I am asking $2500. If this is interest to anyone right now, let me know and I can tell you more about it. We have 4 vehicles right now, and only can afford to insure 2 at a time, so something needs to go, and the Vanagon is the likely candidate. 


My cylinder index is going to take a hit, but I will rebound. :)
