Think a grease gun hose will hold up in this kind of service? I was thinking of having a hydraulic shop make a hose for me.

This is pretty much the scheme I plan to use on my diesel. I'm not comfortable letting my gauge sender hang off the engine only supported by the tee, it's just too heavy and I'm afraid it'll snap off the first time I hit a really big pothole.
