Subject: strange noise from???
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

i've been getting this metalic noise that sounds like someone is feeding a pencil into a fan's blades recently, only when i start out in first gear. thought it had something to do with the clutch, but i can sit there sometimes in neutral and just give it a tiny bit of gas and i can hear it then too. if im above 2k rpm i get no sound. when i parked last night i could hear it rattlin away in nuetral, so i got out and looked around but could not isolate the sound except that it is coming from the rear by the engine. i changed and went back out to investigate further but could not duplicate the sound at that time...any ideas other than tighten everything everywhere??? thanks
