Good point. But I am certainly driving the Westy very differently than the Golf - mainly sloooower. I upgraded the light circuitry with big wires and relays, which improved the output by maybe 30%. Installing H4s cranked up visibility by maybe another 30%. Now what's the lumens of the 80/100W compared with the 55/60W? It's certainly not 1/100/60=166%, but maybe 5-10%? It could save your life or a moose's. You gotta figure that yourself.
