ive been looking for the retrofit inscructions (ive got them buried here
somewhere), they were made by ex-lister Ron maxon of NJ, he put a set in his
ex- '83 westy.   the way he did it was involved - i am going to do the
conversion myself - but a different way.
 the jalousies, are of course from a 68-79 westy.  what ron maxon did was to
make a frame out of aluminum to set the bus jalousies in to take up the space
(bus side windows are same shape as vanagon, but marginally smaller) - what i
am going to do, is use a pair of vanagon passenger van side windows, knock
out the glass, and trim and screw the jalousies to the vanagon aluminum
window frame..
this will be the easiest way.
