Hi all,
I ended up buying the above said Adventurewagon last week.  Called on a whim
on my way out the door to work and was suprised it was still available as
the original post came out on Friday.  Told the owner I would take it if I
could first see some pics.  Finally got them a few hours later, a bit rough,
but it is a syncro so I told him I would be down the next day.  After work I
took a rental car down, got there 1AM.  Was at the shop 7AM, gave it a quick
look over, and handed over the $2100.  Trailered it home with a Uhaul and
trailer.  Now it sits in the drive.  It has a 1990 Subaru Legacy engine with
a rod thru the side of the case.  Body has a few dings, the biggest is one
is on the drivers side rear pillar. No rust to speak of.  15 inch Mercedes
alloys.  The bumpers are something out of Mad Max, a welded on mass of metal
that would not look out of place on a locomotive.  Body has 160K on it.  The
Adventurewagon interior has seen better days and am not too sure about the
layout anyways.  I much prefer the Westy layout.  It is also missing the
dif-lock switch and panel . If anyone has one available, please contact me.
It has been neglected for a while but I think it can be brought back without
too much effort.  My wife thinks otherwise.  I will start by finding an
engine and go from there.  Many thanks to Blaine for posting the FS notice.
Wish me luck in bringing her back to life.
