I usually have names for all my VWs;

- My 1988 Syncro DoKa is 'DAS 4x4' with the matching licence plate - what
else would you call a big Austria 4x4?
- My 1986 Syncro 16 Multivan is 'Aschenbrödel' which is German for
Cinderella - my friend in Germany lost the keys for my van the day before I
went to Hamburg.  He went and tried everyone's T3 key in the neighbourhood
to see if it would fit - kinda fits the glass slipper scenario.
- My 1986 Turbo Diesel Golf - 'Rusty' - guess why!
- My mum's 1978 Rabbit - Fru Fru - after the rabbit in the nursery rhyme

Hey Mark.
Check the archives for last summer.  The was a reference to a web site that
listed hundreds of names for vans.  It as like the baby name books people
give to expecting parents.
