The Vanagon list tends to spontaneous. We simply forget to Clip previous text from postings. Although it makes it a lengthy Digest posting the list administrators have allowed it. Several of the VW list are very restrictive about quoting previous postings and the flexible rules of the Vanagon list make it, in general, a more enjoyable list to subscribe to. Hopefully your request will not fall on deaf ears and list members will try to be more conscious of persons in the digest mode. As for the archives, the duplication gives precedence to listings and can actually aid in your search request.
