You might get lucky on this one. I have been using the same fanny pack for about 10 years... every couple of years the zipper stops working and I take it in to be repaired. A couple years ago I finally figured out that they weren't replacing the whole zipper, just the slider. Apparently that's what wears out first. This year they finally had to replace the zipper itself, meaning the zipper lasted 5 times as long as a slider.
