Clicker wrenches click upon REACHING the specified
torque.


It has been my experience, when torquing VW boxer
heads, that one must HOLD the specified torque for a
period of time because the wrench is likely to
continue to move slowly for a bit.


That being said, it's my recommendation that even when
using a beam or dial type wrench .... don't stop upon
REACHING the specified torque.  Hold it at the
specified torque until the wrench no longer moves.
