Nowadays, there may still be a buyer for it but it will take along time to sell. When I first landed my 16" Double Cab in California, I was offered $23K for it even though it was only in fair condition. Now I can't even get anyone to look at it at 25% below that. I know of at least two 2wd dokas for sale here at under $9K. Three years ago, they would have sold for that in a flash. This pair has been sitting for over a year. One has a 1.9TD conversion. The other one was traded in to a local VW dealer (I missed it). Converted to automatic with a Digifant 2.1, modified Carat bumpers, modified Carat upholstery and overhead AC. I'm sick about it. I was told it traded for $2500. BenT Vanagon Cafe |
