I looked at that dieselgek thing and emailed them..I am very leery about spending the money without any data, which they do not have. I bought a bus boys oil cooler, but have not installed it yet, for their directions were non-existent, and it requires mounting the oil filter in a different location...........leery about rubber lines near headers, and do not feel like having stainless braided hoses made ($$$$$$$$$$) Adam P 81 Westy "The Brick " 70 Single Cab "Whitey" 74 Beetle "Ol Yeller" 73 Transporter (STILL at paint shop) 1988 Vanagon Wolfsburg 1976 Transporter (New CA bus) 75 Campmobile "for sale' Used Vanagon Parts for sale (mostly aircooled) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Phil Zimmerman" <phil.zimmerman@MAIL.CRCN.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 5:40 PM Subject: 2.1 WBX, larger oil cooler availability?
Within the last year or so I recall a list member posting a msg. about an aftermarket oil cooler, with larger cooling capacity, for the 2.1l WBX engine. My use of the achieves provided no clues. Any list member recall this post or item? Phil.Zimmerman@mail.CRCN.NET 87 Westy Campbell River, BC |
