If you don't have a pilot shaft alignment tool you need to get you hands on one. If you bought the Clutch Kit it is probably furnished. In addition: Many times you will find that the clutch cover retaining bolts will break off before they reach the proper torque. Apply torque slow and evenly when tightening them. This will not keep them from breaking but it will allow them to be removed easier after they break. Metric fasteners from a hardware store are adequate for replacements.
