Jay > > To remove the screens, Open the window, go around to the outside > and firmly press down & in, on the bottom edge of the screen frame > and it will pop out. malcolm > sorry the previous email was sent too quick. anyway, this is how you do it. the aluminum window frame has a few slots in it at the bottom..these will line up with the plastic tabs on the screen when the screen is "unlocked" from position by moving the tabs around the slots in the aluminum frame. if you "pry it out" you will break the plastic tabs. ps, it helps when the plastic is warm when you do this (plastic is less brittle when warm) chris |
