Hi John, Has anyone performed a typical pin-by-pin check of the 25 pin Digifant Control Module(DCM)? If the mixture is incorrect, it's because the DCM is choosing the wrong millisecond injector opening time or perhaps there is continuity from the injector control circuit to ground. With every Vanagon I've bought, I recorded the values of the DCM circuits while the engine was running properly. Then if it ever runs poorly I perform the same tests and note which electrical signal has changed. The pin-by-pin should be performed dynamically with the DCM plugged in when the engine is running poorly. Remove the plastic cover on the 25 pin plug and back probe with a known good voltmeter. If you don't have nominal(good)tests values, I can send you test values I've taken from an '86 syncro. I used a special 25 pin break-out box to acquire my test results. Regards, John
