i have modified many a cooling system with standard copper and brass plumbing fittings using no lead solder and paste flux with normal sweating techniques. a proper fitted and fluxed joint will just fit together and then the solder seals it real good when heated to where it flows into the seams. jimt On Wednesday, Oct 16, 2002, at 09:04 America/Denver, George Goff wrote:
