I go with Bob Donalds on his general comments. No engine re-work is worth it's salt without extensive Dynometer testing. One should be able to produce data from which to construct and display all the performance parameters. Specific Fuel Consumption, BHp, and myriad of others. This would be the only kind of presention about a re-worked or re-engineered engine that I would be comfortable with. Performance on the Dyno is the proof of the pudding.
