Subject: Refrigerator Heater Relay
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I'm in the process of installing a kitchenette into my 7 passenger Syncro and I'm confused as to how the Refrigerator Heater Relay is setup. I have installed a battery isolator ,(as detailed on Harold and Nancy's webpage. Thanks. :) ), for my auxiliary battery. I'm assuming that the battery positive attaches to the 87 terminal of the relay. Terminal 30 attaches to the refrigerator. Terminal 86 would attach to G4 on the fuse panel per Bentley ( 12V when the ignition switch is on). The Bentley schematic 97.33b seems to show 86 and 85 as the coil to pull in the voltage for the refrigerator. I'm not sure why terminal 85 is there. Can someone explain the theory of operation? Do I need to wire this differently than the Bentley now that I have an isolator?
