Centrifugal effect, an effect of angular momentum. No such thing as centrifugal force.

But it generates enough extra heat to be a potential problem. I'm considering supercharging my SVX engine eventually, but for several reasons will go the Sprintex (a belt-driven unit) route. No complex exhaust plumbing, no incandescent heat production, no real need for an ignition run-on function.
