Guten Tag Hermann,

I was there 11 years ago, and the canyon was off limits if you're non-Navaho. There was one self-guided hiking trail down into the canyon to one of the Anasazi ruins. But the drive thru the canyon was only done one guided tour vans. Could be different today, but I'd be surprised if it was. There should be an official web site on www.nps.gov.
