You apparently have on your vehicle the "upgraded" tank used from late 84 thru early 90 (I believe it's early 90, then they changed it again).

Gregg mfg was swallowed up by Manchester Tank sometime in the 80's.

Although I've never done it, I've heard that the modifications can be done to retrofit the tank, but I've heard that parts availability from Manchester for this tank are abysmal.
