start with the switch in the column and check it out. it is about the only thing i can think of that doesnt have everything else common to blow the fuse. the intermittant routes through a relay first and then trips one of the windings (either the slow or the fast depending on type). but you state that it does it with either slow or fast so that seems to leave the switch itself may have something a little loose or something in against the contacts. jimt On Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 04:53 PM, Jesse King wrote:
