No Stan, that's not what I am trying to describe. Now, in the clear light of morning, I remember that it is a Loctite product, pipe sealant with teflon. Comes in a plastic tube. Has a "500" numeber on it (592?).

This stuff actually seals, (anaerobic hardener like loctite thread adhesive).
