Just on a lark I went to http://www.vwbus-online.de/feussner and looked at the OTHER images....

Such as the V6 being stuffed into the engine of a Vanagon, the custom console being equipped (mittlekonsole aka middle console)

I have to say I'm more than a little curious about the VR6 conversion, especially as to the difficulties encountered.
