Subject: FS: '86 Syncro, plus new OEM viscous coupler

Just in time for ski season! Silver ’86 Syncro GL with cool skier graphics on the sides and back, Seattle car, second owner, paint in great shape (except tree scratch on driver side) with no body rust anywhere, runs and drives perfectly. 152,000 miles. Syncro 4WD works fine. Clean interior, never smoked in. Has rear seat that makes a queen size bed. Very comfy. 5 speed (4 plus ultra low) transmission, with diff lock. Tinted windows, rear window wiper and defroster. Rear heater. AC. Bra included. Yakima roof rack included. We just bought a nice Westy so are selling this van. Here is a list of things I have done to it since I bought it in 1996, other than the normal maintenance items: Heads rebuilt and resealed 109,000 miles plus the all-important ground strap to prevent electrolysis, done by Northwest Connecting Rod. Tranny rebuilt ~120,000 miles by Gary Zink, tranny builder to the stars. New OEM brake drums, rotors, shoes, pads, and master cylinder ~125,000 miles New Wildcat M/S LT 6 ply tires (incl unused spare) ~126,000 miles New Old Man Emu shocks all around (Australian, very cool) ~140,000 miles New OEM outside mirrors (old ones would no longer adjust) New Kenwood stereo (someone relieved us of the old one) New rear door (someone backed into the old one with a rear-mounted spare tire) Front CV axles and middle drive shaft replaced 2000 Complete New OEM exhaust system incl Cat converter and O2 switch which will go on before I sell the car (or you can do it and save $100). Located in North Bend, WA (Twin Peaks!) near Seattle. Asking $7500, a little less than the above improvements cost.

I will have pictures in a few days. Let me know if interested and I will send when available. Serious inquiries please.

Also, I have an OEM viscous coupler (the part that makes a syncro a syncro) from Germany that I was saving for this van when it needed it (it still doesn't). I will sell this separately for what I paid: $925 shipped. You can't get these in the US except from one guy who imports them a couple times a year. So if yours goes, you are in 2WD mode for good.
