my prep is that i put the fridge (i use a dometic SC) on AC power before the trip. i then stuff everything in that i am taking. then i fill what is left with the frozen gel freezer packs. i did this with the dometic 182 stock fridge as well before it popped on me. even when the vanagon westy hits high temps in the day i still have stiff gel packs after several days. jimt On Tuesday, Oct 15, 2002, at 17:51 America/Denver, Ben McCafferty wrote:
