I had a '78 bus with the typical rusted out bottom sliding door track. I pulled a fast left turn in traffic one day and my door unlatched itself, slid back and out of the track, and ended up lying in the intersection. Luckily the door didn't hit anything and no one ran over it before I could get back to it ----- ahh the wonderful VW memories............. Cheers, Doug |
