Napa carries it or will order it for you. Comes in 5 gal jugs for ~$40. Valvoline #538 , GL4 , 80W-90 Gear Lube I told them I needed GL4 and of course they said GL5 would work. I insisted that VW specified GL4. They looked in their lubricants book for something to sell me and under this #538 it actually said in the book "Approved for VW" or something similar. I ordered 2 jugs, had it the next day.
