Subject: Rough idle,Hesitation,and Backfire
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hello all,

My 84 Westy is running rough, has a "flat Spot" on acceleration, and will occasionally backfire on deceleration. This all happened kind of suddenly. I have new plugs, cap, rotor, checked and cleaned all grounds, replaced fuel filter. Also new is temp2 sensor, idle stabilizer, air filter, and hall sensor in distributor. This problem occurred well after any of these things were replaced. Could these symptoms all be caused by a vacuum leak? If so,I could not see any vacuum lines that were damaged or loose, nor do I "hear" any vacuum leak while the engine is running. This engine always starts right up,and it wants to run fine,I know it's gotta be something simple.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks, John Mahnken
