as far as I know all of the Vanagon regulators are adjustable...

Yes, most people never think of it... but regulators age and can get out of adjustment... also, going to high altitude can cause the fridge to not want to stay lit... Dometic has recognized this and has recommended reducing the propane pressure... and in this case I am installing a new tank and regulator.. it needs to be set at 11 w.c. inches.... RV service recommends checking your regulator pressure peridoically to keep your appliances operating correctly... and it is a good way to diagnose a failing or erratic regulator... those are the reasons I can think of...
