ok, didn't find anybody else with the little emergency gas can ... got mine out and looked at it. it says it was made by Bellino (who also made some of the larger 20-liter cans ... the real 'jerry' cans). mine was sold by Stainless Steel Brakes Corp (still in business, has a web page, but nothing about these cans anymore). says it holds 6 liters (1.5 gallons). stamped into the metal are "kraftstoff" and "goeppingen" and "tuev-pruef.Nr Tue-18-6" to satisfy some german regulation, no doubt.

i've also got a 20-liter ex-nato can. got it from http://www.sportsmansguide.com/ (search on "gas can" and click on the 'jerry can metal nozzle"). the can costs like $9.95 ... costs like $10 to ship it!!. and you have to buy the additional nozzle at $6.95. well .. you don't really HAVE to buy the nozzle, but it would make it a lot easier to pour the gas into a filler neck. :)

here comes the neat part ...

the metal nozzle is exactly the same for the 20-liter can as for the little doughnut emergency gas can! only thing is, the nozzle came with the doughnut can. :)

more than you ever wanted to know. ;)
