same thing happens to me when im gassing up my '84 van. by the time the auto-shutoff stops pumping gas from the pump, its already puking petrol all over the side of my van and onto the pavement... virtually no warning. and its even worse in Jersey where they dont let you pump your own gas (stupid law) and the pump jockeys who cant speak english like to keep clicking the pump trigger even after the auto shutoff has gone off anyway... then i have to ask them if i can borrow the towel wrapped around their head to dry the gas off the side of my van..
