I have two nits that are bothering me. My Glovebox will only close partially, there is about a . 5 inch gap, and then flops open at the slightest disturbance. It appears the little fixed portion of the latch (strike) has some grooves worn in it. Is there a new source or trick to adjusting this?

My other bother is the sliding door. Occasionally it just opens while I am cruising down the road, usually the back edge pops open a little bit to warn me. Once it has slid completely open. I have checked the latch and the mechanism and things look OK but I am not sure what bad looks like.

Any suggestions?
