Thanks John. Every high performance engine I ever built for racing was built as if it had 50,000 miles on it .......... loose as a goose with lots of high dollar parts. Still had short engine life even in non racing environment. This 66 splittie has bunches of modifications to it (not worth the trouble to remove it to find out exactly). At any rate it, cooks. I find myself just running the heck out of it because with the hot cam that gives me an exhilarate on acceleration and the louder than normal extractor exhaust, it simple encourages me to run it hard. It is a real hoot to drive.

Stan
