Subject: 86 Vanagon stalls when idling too long
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

You folks are always the best when it comes to me needing help. Here's another one. My VAnagon (86 AT w/ A/C) has a new problem. If I idle too long in one spot the van begins running a little rough and then will shut down. At first I thougt it was getting too hot (not true) but now I am leaning towards the fuel pump. Any ideas? I don't hear excessive FP noise but if it sits a few minutes it will start right up. Let me point out that I have also developed a hesitation that comes and goes. Any e-mail replies would be appreciated. Dave
