Subject: ATF Oil Cooler ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I have an '84 with auto trans and 1.9L engine. All of a sudden the transmission is losing ATF, but nothing on the ground; could be reason I have oily crud in the coolant. ATF itself still looks good.

Can my symptoms mean anything else but a bad oil cooler? Can I get a new

oil cooler in with simple tools and w/o jack stands or lift? What can I do wrong? Can anyone get me an oil cooler by Tuesday afternoon and not use a shipper that demands a signature??

Please send help fast.

John Lauterbach Macon, GA '84 7-passenger
