Subject:      Transmission (auto) still spewing & worse

   Recently I consulted the list about my transmission fluid spewing out of
the dip stick. I was informed about the breather, I found it the little cap
thing, cleaned it all up and it was fine for over 80 miles or so. Then it
spewed again I cleaned it with a tooth brush and made sure the cap was very
loose. After a 10 mile run it spewed and when I shut it down it spewed a
quart or two and it came out of the pan as well. Could these be a
transmissionn pump ? Is it time for a new trany at 156,000 on the 87 GL.
