Subject: Shift linkage troubles
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Greatings. I am having trouble with the shift linkage on my 81 Westy. The shift rod keeps coming off of the guide pin on the tranny. The big rubber boot is missing, I tried to order one but they are NLA. I did order the guide pin ring because it looks pretty worn. The plastic balls on the lever on the tranny dont look too bad to my eyes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Ed Maikranz Abilene, TX 81 Westy 71 Superbeetle
