Hey all
I took your advise on the air in my cooling system 1st
i tryed just running it .. and bleeding it .. thought
i was all good.. but still i would get heat sometimes
and for some odd reson after driving for a day .. or
after coming off highway driving i would shut down,
then come back to it some time after and the red light
would blink and the res tank, would be full right to
the top .. odd.. so i bleed the system with jacking it
up and opened the bleeder .. and damm did it flow out
i was sure there was no way there could have been air
in there cause it was flowing out real nice .. so i
topped the fluid again and it still happends... air
and the res. tank would be full of fluid and the
expantion tank wouldnt be full at all till i opened
the lip and air comes out ..and it all fills back up
.. but i get off and on heat when driving and there is
a therostat in it. should i take it out ? the core of
it i mean. does this sound like air still in the
system
btw its on a 84 vanagon
thanks
