Chris, The best route through to Germany is through London England. From there you can get connections and good fares on throughout Europe. I won't burden you with my list of stuff, I figure your family will want their needs met on this, your first trip. I shipped about 300 pounds of automatic gate operators from China for about 275$ Us by Federal Express. Might want to contact Robert Steven Fish <fish@SALZBURG.CO.AT, he's almost local, in Austria.
