This is the last of the 5 post I promised on replacing the waterpump. The very first thing that you remove on the pump is the pulley. The bolts holding the pulley on can be very tight. An easy trick is to use two tools, I prefer two 5 point sockets on 3/8 inch drives and work one bolt agains another to remove the first two. First two are easy but that leaves you with the last one which by now is the tightest. Easy solution here is to find a long bolt with the same thread as the ones you removed and screw it into the pump as far as possible, turn the pulley so that the long bolt hits the pump and take out the last bolt. have a good weekend all, gary __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
