Tiico conversions are a last ditch effort to keeping a Water Cooled Vanagon on the road. It consist of a kit to install a inline 4 cylinder VW or other like Audi engine in your van. Other conversions to Subaru can also be done with Tiico type kits. I think the Subaru kits mostly come from Kennedy machine. The Tiico conversion can be as little as ?? or more than rebuilding your existing engine. I've heard lots of numbers and some are as much as 4000$ if you buy the new inline engine Vs a used engine.
