Subject: 4 wheelin' this last weekend
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

One of these days I'll post some of the images I took. Problem is they are each 2+ megs in size, so unless you have a fast connection they will take forever to get.

Anyway, I was using the GoldBrick a bit (chasing my sisters cat back into the house...) at my WV place this last weekend. No, I'm not trying to run over it like Stan, I was using the headlights, hi-beams, and foglights to illuminate the ground in front to find the silly animal. I was also driving across the slope and up and over some of the mounds around the driveway.

Wee HAW was that fun. The GoldBrick (Syncro, Tiico conversion) has the 15" SA wheels and 215/75 tires on it, so it has tremendous ground clearance now. Those mounds on either side of the driveway are 12-18 inches higher than the driveway and 8-12 inches taller than the surrounding area outside the driveway. Driving across this was like a ship in heavy seas.

I was NOT spotlighting the deer (or at least not intentionally.) Besides all the hunters don't come up to the house anyway (which is why I have an over population of deer up near the house.) :(
