check that someone didnt jumper the wires on the switch or that they didnt run both to the door switch the other after checking bentley is that your switch is wired that it has only a single hot wire and two grounds. the door switch actually providing a ground path and the switch providing a path in the other position. from what you are saying i gather that the switches both on settings are working when you open a door. from the diagram this would mean someone either jumpered the door switch wire behind the light and disconnected the other ground wire or there is something strange. because with the ground setup almost anything else would cause the light to be on all the time. jimt On Tuesday, Oct 29, 2002, at 07:54 America/Denver, T. wrote:
