go to NAPA store and get some 7039D Signal Stat mirrors ... not large, like 3 or 4 inches. so you can still see with the normal mirrors, but you get a wider view with the fisheyes. they've been on one of my buses now for 14 years. :)

another thing thingie that is really useful is a 3M Vangard fresnel lens for the rear hatch window. yes, it'll stick over the heater/defroster wires. it's held on by some sort of magic suction that seems to activated by water. that's all you do ... wet it and stick it and then squeegee most of the water out. like window tint. anyway, it lets you have a much wider view behind your bus ... helpful when backing up (in daylight, anyway). available at some body shop suppliers and RV places and so forth ... in different sizes, too. i got the middle size, which is about 8 inches square. i think it was like $10 back then. like this place ... http://www.go-rv.com/online/1060/showproductdetails?cat id=1893
